Time Zone
The conference programme will be run in British Summer Time (GMT+1). If you are an international delegate, you will be able to view talks outside of this time after the conference, but please be aware that all social and networking events, and Q&A sessions with presenters will be live.

Conference website and technology
All the conference events will be available via this website. If you have registered then you will need to use your personal log in to access the delegate only pages. So on the day of the conference, just arrive at www.asabvirtual.org and log in!
In addition to this website, we also use Zoom and YouTube.

Process of selecting abstracts
Abstracts will be grouped by topic and scored by panels of research staff. Scores will be the primary basis for selection, but we also strive to group talks during the programme into themed sessions based on topic and also plan to have presentations from a wide range of taxa and institutions. PhD students and early career researchers will be prioritised for talks.

How do I register for the conference?
Please visit the registration page and choose the registration option depending on whether you are an ASAB member or not. You will be asked to create log in details - make sure you remember these as this will give you access to the delegate only webpages.
You will be able to access all of the conference pages with your registration log in.

I have not received a confirmation email after registering for the conference
When you register for the conference you would usually receive a confirmation email from
no-reply@automations.ascendbywix.com
If this email is sent to your junk folder, or if you receive no email confirmation, you can check that your registration has gone through by clicking on the conference webpage.
Or, you can try to register again with the same details, and if you are registered the conference will not let you register twice.
You do not need the email confirmation to access the website, this is linked to your log in details.
